TERMS OF SERVICE

What WTAE is, and what it isn't yet.

Product notice, not a signed agreement · draft, not yet reviewed by counsel

What this document is

This page describes how the WTAE product works today, in plain language. It is not a final Terms of Service. Every section below that touches liability, dispute resolution, or governing law is marked [COUNSEL REVIEW REQUIRED] and contains no binding legal language — those sections must be drafted by qualified counsel before this page is presented as an enforceable agreement.

The service

Welcome to Atlanta Events (WTAE) offers three things: helping attendees find their photos from an event, helping organizers bring WTAE coverage to an event, and helping independent photographers and videographers join the Creator Network. WTAE is a managed activation service, not an open marketplace — WTAE reviews, scopes, and dispatches every assignment; the public does not browse and book individual creators directly.

The camera is access, not the product

Photography and event coverage are how WTAE builds a relationship with attendees, organizers, and creators over time. Standard eligible event photos remain free to access and download during the current operating phase.

Creators are independent businesses

Every approved creator affirms, before receiving any assignment offer: they own or control their own equipment, they operate an independent business, they may accept or decline any offer, and they may work for other clients. WTAE does not control a creator's schedule, tools, or other work. Assignment terms, fees, and requirements are disclosed in a complete work order before a creator accepts.

Organizer requests

Submitting an event request opens a scoping conversation with a human at WTAE. It is not a booking, a contract, or a charge. Pricing, deposit, cancellation, and refund terms are not yet finalized — see the payment section below.

Insurance

Creators either submit current liability coverage for human verification or use a licensed-partner handoff. WTAE does not sell insurance, quote coverage, or bind a policy. Coverage is independently rechecked before every assignment offer, at acceptance, and at check-in; expired or insufficient coverage blocks an assignment regardless of a creator's own attestation.

Payments and creator pay

Not yet live. Pricing, deposits, cancellation and refund windows, and payout timing have not been decided. Creator payouts require completed delivery, human quality approval, and no open incident before a human authorizes release — no payout is ever released automatically. The current state of this system is tracked in detail for the engineering team; nothing on this page should be read as a pricing commitment.

Media and publication

Organizers and WTAE control which event media is published. A human reviews and approves media before it appears in a public gallery. If you have a concern about a published image, use the contact below and include the event name and enough detail to locate it — see the Privacy page for the removal process.

Biometric matching

The public product does not currently expose live face-assisted photo matching. See the Privacy page for the conditions that would have to be met before that feature is enabled.
